This videos gives my opinion on the importance of University grades.

I personally feel that University grades are merely a stepping stone to get your first job. Once you’ve got your first job and couple years experience, no one will ever care about what University result you got.

Don’t be discouraged from applying if you don’t get the grade you want, there are always different avenues to getting a job. Great engineers aren’t necessarily book smart, they may have great communication and problem solving skills. I these skills are probably more important than being book smart.
