This greatly increases safety margins on Skiathos' 1570 meter LDA runway. For comparison, the runway in St Maarten is 2300 meters long (over 7500 feet), accomodating jets up to the size of the Boeing 747. Ryanair's 737 MAX 8200s come with the Shortfield package installed as standard.
