In addition to flow meters and flow metering systems, KROHNE supplies automatic sampling systems for liquid hydrocarbons.
Our automatic sampling systems are used to collect representative samples from the flow. A typical application is during the loading of crude oil into a tanker, or for custody transfer measurement in a pipeline. The sample is then analyzed offline in a lab to determine the properties of the crude oil that was loaded.
We offer different configurations of sampler systems, including in-line, fast loop, jet-mixing and portable shipboard systems. Of course, these are compliant to all the major standards, such as ISO, ASTM and API.
For online analysis we offer analyzer systems installed in a shelter or airconditioned analyzer building. For gas flows, these include analyzers such as gas chromatographs, or water- and hydrocarbon dewpoint analyzers.
For liquid flows the system can involve watercut, sulfur and salt analyzers. KROHNE sampling and analyzer systems can be supplied as part of a complete metering system, or as stand-alone modules to upgrade an existing installation.
Optionally our systems can include the CalSys AMADAS analyzer management software, to guarantee the optimal performance of the analyzers.
