How to make falafel
1 bag of chickpeas
1 onion
1/2 bunch of parsley
1/2 bunch of cilantro
2 cloves of garlic
1/2 cup water
2 Tbs olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp corriander
2 Tbs chickpea or all purpose flour
Combine all ingredients in a food processor
Chill for one hour
Create balls and place into hot oil. The oil should be 350 degrees. Fry until balls are golden brown.
Make a pita sandwich with cut up tomatoes, cucumbers, and anything else you prefer. drizzle tehini on top and viola! You just made a favorite dish of the middle eastern region.
Best served fresh.
