Video taken in full daylight.
What is this? You can install a $130 app (rip-off) on the TV that will natively control overpriced Philips Hue RGB lights (I use one "Play Gradient Lightstrip" behind the TV and one ordinary "Gradient Lightstrip" under the cabinet.
The worst aspect of it all is that the app will be locked to the one single TV and if you ever upgrade to a newer TV (or do a warranty exchange?) you have to pay the app again.
That being said: it does look pretty and works really well. Auto syncs when the TV is powered on and stops syncing (works as normal light) when the TV goes in standby.
