The second winter storm of 2018 at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol! Today the 18th of January we had again a big storm with guts of wind from 130 km per hour! This was very difficult for the pilots to land! Lot's of departing planes were canceled and some arriving planes diverted to Brussels, Groningen, Copenhagen, London! At one moment there were no arriving or departing planes because it was to dangerous that moment! There were also a lot of go-arounds, some planes tried it 2 or 3 times before they landed the plane safely on runway 27! Because of the strong wind from the west the planes took off from runway 27 and 24! In this video you see some small and big planes trying to land in this strong wind like B737's, B747's, A330's, B777's and more! I hope you like this video and sorry for the shaking shots, it was difficult to stay steady during the strong wind!

De tweede winter storm van 2018 op Amsterdam Airport Schiphol! De piloten hadden het moeilijk om hun vliegtuig aan de grond te zetten met windstoten van 130 km per en dat zorgde voor mooie beelden en soms een go-around! Het was weer echt een storm met moeilijke landingen!
