After removing the dash in the last episode, Matt has a game plan for tackling the gaping hole in the firewall. The Y-Block’s distributor is placed in a horrible location, and with a welded in panel the distributor would never be able to be accessed. Matt’s plan is to create a flanged panel that will gain us a few inches and allow us to unbolt the cover to make adjustments or repairs. Matt shows us his preferred method for tipping edges in a panel with the Eastwood Bead Roller and a unique set of die combinations. Be sure to stay tuned, this project is moving along quickly and will be on the road soon!!!
