On June 24th, 2020, U.S. Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations agents spotted a suspicious vessel headed toward the United States. The suspect boat was intercepted 35 miles off the coast of San Diego, where AMO agents discovered and turned over the 18 Mexican nationals on board to Border Patrol for processing.
