The young man jumped from the second flood at around 5.30pm on Sunday at the three-star Hotel Encant in S'Arenal, a party resort on the eastern end of Playa de Palma, Majorca. The hotel manager refused to reveal the man's nationality or whether he had been drunk. The resort is most popular with Germans but attracts a small British crowd as well.
