Wildfires in Spain’s Tenerife Island “Out of Control” | Firstpost Earth
Tenerife Island, a part of Spain’s Canary Islands is experiencing uncontrollable wildfires. The blaze that started out at a mountainous national park on the island has spread to 1,800 hectares in twenty-four hours. Five nearby villages have been evacuated and authorities have deployed aircraft, firefighters and military personnel to battle the blazes.
