OldFknFkr recently demonstrated that it is possible to create and reach through gaps in building blocks by offsetting their foundations slightly:

I expanded on the original row of triangles and it is apparently possible to offset the foundations to a width of your choosing - until the foundations are too far apart to be placeable near eachother.

It is possible to access boxes and TCs through the wall. It is also possible to shoot through the gap. It is very hard to identify objects close up however, so it will be difficult for raiders to efficiently destroy items behind it. Dropped loot seems to be generally unlootable.
It is much easier to shoot at people further away, so it can be viable as an alternative for standard peeks.
