"And Then There Were None" (1945), directed by René Clair and based on Agatha Christie's novel, is a classic mystery thriller. Ten strangers are lured to a secluded island under different pretexts, only to discover they are accused of past crimes. As an unseen presence accuses them through a recorded message, paranoia and fear intensify. One by one, the characters succumb to a series of murders that mirror a nursery rhyme. With a stellar ensemble cast and clever storytelling, the film keeps viewers on the edge of their seats, delivering a suspenseful and memorable cinematic adaptation of Christie's masterful whodunit.
