From Friday, October 14 to Sunday, October 16, 2022, I had an Awesome Adventure known as Barter Faire.

The Okanogan Family Fall Faire in Tonasket has been happening annually since the early 1970s. This is a magical event that has literally changed lives.

At Fall Havest Time, people from all around bring food they’ve grown, food they’ve made, arts, crafts they’ve made, cool things that have been found (rocks, gems, shells, sea glass), animal pelts, clothing they’ve made…etc. And they bring these items to sell and Trade as they get ready for winter. (I traded a nug for a carabiner. I traded a nug for coffee.)

Some of the highlights of my adventure here include: getting Free Tincture samples from The Get ‘N Spot, the spectacular Fire Dancers, and the stories of human kindnesses…stories of #HumansWithWings.

After the credits, a bonus clip of drinking some mead out of a drinking horn I picked up at Barter Faire.
