During a recent B-SCAN Users Group Meeting co-sponsored by Access Control Systems and Smiths Detection, Essex County Sheriffs Department's Aaron Eastman -Assistant Superintendent of the Essex County Pre-release and Re-entry Center (ECPRC) talked about why his department chose the Smiths Detection transmission X-ray B-SCAN people screening system to keep contraband from entering their facility.
