I've been a fan of minimalist footwear for the last 8 or 9 years and the Belleville Minimalist Military training boots are my favourite boots I've tested so far. They definitely need to be worn in and have a decent pair of socks, however, once they're work in these are incredibly comfortable. All the support of a standard military 8" boot with the added advantage of minimalist footwear. The VIBRAM Tarsus soles are super grippy and give a perfect barefoot feel
