In this video I will give you my review of 2 of the most commonly used types of metallic embroidery threads- Kreinik very fine braid #4 colour number 032 and DMC E5200. This is my own personal opinion having used both of these types of thread recently.
If a Heaven and Earth Designs (HAED) chart asks for Kreinik 032 in the pattern, this is it. The DMC E5200 is a good substitute for it if you can't manage to get a hold of the Kreinik, eg it is sold out, which happens a lot here in the UK.
2 other good substitutes for it, which I mention here, are Petit Treasure Braid and DMC Etoile. I briefly discuss these here, although can't review them as I haven't used them yet. I will review them if I ever use them in future.
