River Flows in You is in Yiruma's 2nd album, First Love (2001). I decided to make an arrangement for this piece so that I can add a violin part.

I worked very hard on the violin part since the violin part was done nothing but ear. This took me a couple months to finish with lots of editing on each piano and violin audios, as well as the music video that we shot at Rooster Rock State Park in Oregon.

From Yiruma's North America 2017 Tour, River Flows in You was inspired by an Irish Dance called the "River Dance" and the rhythmical footstep of the dance performers. River Flows in You is one of Yiruma's most famous piece in the world, and is used in commercials, dramas, and movies all over the world for its sad yet beautiful melody that embodies the essence of Yiruma and is often praised for its lyrical melody.
