Thousands of protesters gathered in the Pakistani capital Islamabad on March 28, 2022, to support a no-confidence vote against Prime Minister Imran Khan. The country’s political opposition has formed a coalition called the Pakistan Democratic Movement and launched a no-confidence motion against Khan, accusing him of mismanaging the country’s economy. The parliament will begin debating the proposal on March 31 and will need to vote on it within seven days.
