Donald Trump did a rally in Wisconsin this past weekend that didn’t go well for the sweaty convicted felon. He ranted for over an hour about things no one cares about, and throughout that rant, he repeatedly mispronounced words, names, and sometimes just completely blanked in the middle of a sentence. Critics pounced on his performance, pointing out that it is yet another clear sign that his brain is falling apart. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains what happened.

After not doing a single rally at all last week, Donald Trump finally ended the week Saturday going to Wisconsin, holding a rally. And holy crap, was it bad? Not only was he visibly sweaty, and at most times very low energy, but time after time, after time, after time, he also completely messed up whatever the hell it was. He was attempting to say at one point, at one point, I love this one, I'm starting with this. He referred to his new good buddy, Elon Musk, and he was trying to, you know, he was attacking Boeing. So he was trying to say like, Elon Musk is building a rocket and we're gonna go to outer space on his rocket. Except he didn't call him Elon Musk. He simply referred to him as Leon. He said, Leon's going to send up a rocket. He looks forward to it. That's all he thinks about is things like that.
Leon, I mean, it's the right letters, just not the correct order. So, you know, if Donald Trump has some form of dyslexia, that is obviously not in any way disqualifying as a candidate for president of the United States. However, Donald Trump has no history of dyslexia. So this is yet another, his brain is getting so bad that when he sees these words on a teleprompter, his brain is jumbling them up because that's how far his brain is deteriorated. Or like that's the best case scenario, that it was a teleprompter and he screwed that up. Reading it. If he did it off the top of his head, that is indicative of even worse cognitive decline. Like if you're not even trying to read it, you're just trying to remember it. And then the memory jumbles itself, that's really bad. And I'm sure Leon would probably also agree that that's pretty bad. And then after that, Donald Trump had this moment, and we do have a clip of it. This is Donald Trump trying to say the word eliminate. Here he is.
Ultimately we'll eliminate. And you know what we're doing here. I say it all the time, I'm dying to get back to do this. We will ultimately eliminate the Federal Department of Education. And
Ultimately we, we, blah. I just, you know, I've been saying this for all the time, I totally want, so he realized, okay, my brain's getting bad right here, I gotta do something. So he starts ad-libbing real quick before getting back to the message. But of course the damage was done. Um. And then of course, 'cause there's more, he referred to Wisconsin, GOP Chairman Brian Shimming, simply as Briar. So you called him Breyer instead of Brian. Uh, you also mispronounced the name of the Keystone XL Pipeline, calling it the Keys Town, and also appeared to mispronounce the word tampon when he was trying to refer to Tim Walls. He called him tampon. So just misfire after misfire, after misfire for Donald Trump in Wisconsin. So the big question, of course, is why isn't the media talking about this? Right? What, why was this not running all day on CNN?
Why was it not on M-S-N-B-C? I mean, those are, according to Republicans, left-leaning outlets. Why was this not front page Washington Post or New York Times? I mean, if Biden did it, it would've been, and we know that because they've done that when Biden has done it. So I'm not just speaking like, oh, well, a little hyperbole here. What if, what if coulda, shoulda would've, right? No, it's happened with Biden. Everybody covered it with Biden. 'cause it was the biggest news of the day. Trump does it like seven times during one speech, once every, you know, less than 10 minutes here. And the media's like, oh yeah, but we're bored. It's just Trump being, Trump Trump's dumb Trump can't read. We get it. Let's move on. No, these are symptoms and the media needs to treat them as symptoms.
