Mysteries at the Museum is a steady ratings stalwart for Travel Channel Thursday nights. Don Wildman presents familiar stories with a “new perspective”. The goal: create “forced perspective” style video execution with clever blocking and methodical directing. We typically capture straight talent reads to camera. This time we added the “forced perspective” angle and our team had to be more diligent handling a unique layer to an otherwise idiosyncratic production style. The outcome gave us a 14% rise in viewership, and a fresh, fun approach for promoting Mysteries at the Museum.
