Lunch will be provided from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m.
The talks between Azerbaijani President Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan between Azerbaijan and Armenia this spring yielded no tangible results on the long-stalemated Nagorno-Karabakh issue. But the meeting itself was a positive development and serves a reminder that both sides see diplomacy as the right way to resolve this dispute. US interest in the Caucasus and Nagorno-Karabakh remains strong, as evidenced by the trip of National Security Adviser Bolton to the region last fall.
