Have you got an innovative idea that you want to turn into a viable venture? Are you interested in becoming an entrepreneur? RGU's award-winning accelerator programme returns for a third year inviting innovative concepts from staff, students and alumni of RGU and NESCol.
As we reflect on the world beyond the Covid-19 pandemic, we have evolved our accelerator to not just support startup businesses but also invite ideas for social enterprises or innovative projects to benefit from the opportunity. We also recognise that entrepreneurs need to provide more than economic impact, therefore this year we are looking for a diversity of ideas from all sectors which can contribute to three key global challenges:
- Our Society - Recover from the challenges of Covid-19
- Our People - Developing ideas to tackle inequalities
- Our Wellbeing - Creating new health and wellbeing innovations
All ideas must also show a commitment to sustainability and combatting climate change. Those selected for the programme will undertake five months of online training from February - June 2021, have access to dedicated mentors, use of co-working space and access to seed funding.
