Leaky batteries are a secret killer of the C5 and possibly C6 Corvette as well! If the battery leaks for an extended period of time, it can cause SIGNIFICANT damage to your main wiring harness / ECM and/or extremely corrode the steel frame rails since the battery sits right above them! Go check your battery now or make sure to really inspect this area if you're looking at buying a Corvette!
