APPLE AI
Tech giant Apple has announced it's jumping into the realm of artificial intelligence! From boosting the Siri voice assistant, to letting you generate your own emojis, Apple's 'Intelligence' AI overhaul is promising big things for around 1.3 billion users around the world. Now, building AI into devices like this isn't anything new. It's something companies like Google and Samsung have already had a crack at, but Apple Intelligence on the other hand, is getting a little bit of help from OpenAI's ChatGPT. Partnering with another company is pretty unusual for Apple, who are normally very protective of their products and their data. So, it's got some concerned about privacy and security. Even Elon Musk has blasted the move as a security violation, which is pretty interesting considering he's one of OpenAI's founders! But Apple says they'll be doing everything they can to protect user data. That said, we'll have to wait and see if Apple Intelligence is actually, well, intelligent, and hopefully it won't be telling anyone to add glue to pizza.
META DATA
Meanwhile, over in Meta-land, there's been an announcement that the company is about to start using data from Facebook and Instagram to train its AI software. That means everything from posts and photos to captions and messages dating as far back as 2007 will be used to train and improve Meta's AI chat bot from June 26. But people aren't too happy about it. Some think it's an invasion of privacy, while hundreds of thousands of content creators are leaving the platforms to protect their work. But unless you're in the EU or the U.S State of Illinois, which have AI protection laws, Meta legally has the right to use the data.

BIG FREEZE
The 10th annual big freeze made quite a splash at the MCG yesterday. This year saw sports stars dressed up as rockstars. With legends like Nic Natanui as Bob Marley, Sally Pearson as Madonna, and Joel Selwood as Robbie Williams all taking the plunge. As always, they were raising money for Fight MND, with donations totalling around $3million dollars!
BIG PINEAPPLE
First up, to the Big Pineapple on the Sunshine Coast! Which today, re-opened to the public after spending months closed off for renovations. The Big Pineapple first opened in 1971 on a pineapple farm. Would you believe it. And they even had a train you could catch to check out the pineapple crops. Oh, life could be a dream.
DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL
Now to the Dragon Boat Festival, which started off in China, but is now celebrated in countries all over the world. At the front of each boat, someone bangs a drum to set the rhythm for the paddlers as they make their way across the water, vying for first place. It's a tradition that's thought to date back more than 2000 years.
WORLD'S TALLEST BIKE
And finally, to a really big bike. Standing at 7.77 meters tall, it's officially the tallest rideable bicycle in the world! Looks a bit wobbly for my liking.
