Tareena Shakil was 24 when she fled with her child to Syria to join ISIS in 2014. After escaping, she managed to come back home where she became the first woman to be prosecuted in the UK for joining a terrorist group. She was sentenced to six years in prison.
Since then, she says she has been deradicalised and believes people like herself such as Shamima Begum deserve a second chance.
