(VO) OMEGA releases its limited James Bond marking the 24th James Bond film.
INTRO: The world-renowned Swiss watch brand OMEGA and THAKRAL, authorized agent for Omega Watches in Laos, held an exclusive SPECTRE movie screening at Major Platinum Cineplex in Vientiane Centre, to celebrate the 24th James Bond film’s release in Laos

For almost 20 years, OMEGA has been consistently featuring in the 007’s movie since Golden Eye in 1995. The world's favorite secret agent is defined not only by his sense of adventure but by his role as the ultimate style icon – a combination that makes OMEGA and 007 perfect partners.
According to the Executive Director of Thakral Group of Companies, the watch finely engraved with unique serial number and the SPECTRE logo worn by the secret agent, produced at a limited number of 7,007, will be released to the public for the first time in Bond history.

The watch is housed in a 41mm stainless steel case. It features a Polished black bi-directional rotating ceramic bezel, presented on a black and grey striped NATO strap. Displayed on the black dial are the hours and minutes, as well as a ‘lollipop’-style central seconds hand. It is powered by an Omega MasterCo-Axial Calibre 8400 movement and boasts a 60-hour power reserve. And because it needs to stand up to Bond’s rather arduous lifestyle, it is resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss and is water resistant up to 300 meters (1000 feet or 30 bar).

‘Thakral’ is the authorized agent of Omega in ‘Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar’. The event at the Major Platinum Cineplex in Vientiane Centre promoted the Omega Seamaster watch, which James Bond is wearing in the film, and was well-received by Lao officials from different fields.
