Michael Trasso explains one of the biggest mistakes grapplers make when they blast double leg - they don't run their feet. If you take a blast double leg and just push forward once, you might off balance your opponent briefly, but the idea is to blast through them (hence the name). If you do one hard blast forward and your opponent regains their balance, you are fully extended and facing the mat, there is no more push you can give, and they can now sprawl on top. When you shoot the blast double leg keep moving forward and keep running your feet. This will ensure you get the takedown and not put you in a spot where they sprawl on top.
