Augmented Reality (AR) allows museums, stadiums, and cities a whole new way to engage with their visitors.
If you've never heard of augmented reality, it's essentially the same concept as virtual reality, but with a slightly different emphasis. Instead of immersing you in a completely new world that only exists in your head, AR uses computer software to augment the world around you via your smartphone or tablet screen.
You've probably seen or heard of Pokémon Go. People were going crazy over the new Augmented Reality game where players could find train, and battle Pokémon in the real world. But AR is about more than just this one game - it has huge implications for museums, stadiums, and even cities. Watch this interview with the founder of the X-Plora to find out how this new technology can provide more personalized and meaningful experiences for visitors
