Did you know that the first Barbie doll was created in 1959 or that, just 97 years before, in 1862 plastic was created?

Barbie could be as old as your grandmother (63) but, like all plastic, she isn't going anywhere soon. 👵🏼

And it's not just because she's been a pop-culture icon for decades. Barbie is made of plastic - a material that was designed to be indestructible (a bit like Hulk, but pinker).
