What you are seeing here is a clip from the 1944 American Christmas musical film "Meet Me in St. Louis", directed by Vincente Minelli, but that is not what you are hearing. What you are hearing is the version of the song featured on the soundtrack album for the film, released in 1994, which has the same vocal performance but a different accompaniment, particularly for the intro.
The source video I used to create this one is here: [ Ссылка ]
That was the best-quality upload of this clip that I could find online. Replacing the audio track involved speeding up the footage slightly, as it was running a bit slow compared to the HQ audio track I am using. To accompany the instrumental intro, I have put up on screen a picture of the soundtrack album as released on CD. I have also faded the video picture to black at the end of the song. I have also added optional subtitles for the lyrics.
This song is said to have been written by Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane, but allegedly Hugh Martin later claimed to have written it alone. This track was orchestrated by Conrad Salinger, performed by the M-G-M Studio Orchestra conducted by Georgie Stoll, and was produced for compact disc by George Feltenstein. This track was first released in 1994, as a track on the first ever release of the soundtrack album for the film; in 1944 an album of songs from the film had been released (as a three-record set), and had reached No. 2 in the USA, but these were not the same performances as the ones from the film. The version of this song included on that album was released as a single that same year and reached No. 27 in the USA. In that version, the line "Faithful friends who are dear to us will be near to us once more" is sung as "Faithful friends who are near to us will be dear to us once more".

I have not been able to find an official presentation of the lyrics to this song. Presented below and as optional subtitles in the video is my own transcript of the lyrics, for which I have used the transcripts found on lyrics websites as a guide.
Lyrics:
"Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas"
- Judy Garland
(Words and Music by Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane)
Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Let your heart be light
Next year, all our troubles will be out of sight
Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Make the Yuletide gay
Next year, all our troubles will be miles away
Once again, as in olden days
Happy golden days of yore
Faithful friends who are dear to us
Will be near to us once more
Someday soon, we all will be together
If the fates allow
Until then, we'll have to muddle through somehow
So have yourself a merry little Christmas now
