Hi all! Back from the holiday break with a new Patreon video :)
I've been thinking a bit about which direction I want to steer the classes at enamelworkshop.com and the Patreon content. I think Patreon is more suitable to spontaneous, ongoing content and projects, so what I'll be doing is putting more effort into the work-in-progress-es that I post there.
This will be in contrast with the content of my classes, which are foundational and thus not project-based, but knowledge based. I think that's the best basis for building an education, but project based learning is also fun, and we can more easily focus all the little details, and the personal project development process.
So this video is my first attempt at these shorter, project-based type of classes, and I am really enjoying the result. I filmed the entire process of this Fox enamel, with two camera angles, edited it to a manageable length (not by removing content but by speeding up sections, so the entire process is clear) and now have recorded a spontaneous, unscripted voice-over to go with it. This is a lot fresher, and quicker to make so that I don't stumble into perfectionism bottlenecks, and a more immediate dialogue with patrons will be possible.
So I invite you to join us over at my Patreon, to see this and all past content, and looking forward to all future projects :D I already want to make lots more foxes since this was addictive!
