Syed Ahmed Shah, better known by his pen name Ahmed Faraz, was a Pakistani Urdu poet. He was widely known as one of the best modern Urdu poets of the last century. Faraz was his pen name. He was born in 12 January 1931 at Kohat, Pakistan. He died in 25 August 2008. This is his best poetry at jashn-e-azad 1993.
