Have you ever wondered how to make Black Salt? Have you ever wondered what it’s used for? Black Salt is a powerful form of Protection Magick and Banishment Magic.
Black Salt can be a powerful Magick to use in order to protect yourself and your space. It can also be used to banish someone who is threatening you with danger or harm. In this video I will show you how to create black salt for yourself, and the to bless, charge and infuse it with the Power of the Element of Fire in order to make it even more potent.
What you will need:
Finely ground salt
Natural charcoal
Ground cinnamon
A mortar and pestle
A clean, empty spice jar with the shaker top intact
A red candle
Cinnamon oil (or some oil that represents fire for you)
Dragon's blood oil, powder or incense (optional)
A funnel
I recently felt the need to create my own recipe for Black Salt. A friend fo mine had been asking me questions about how I Magically protect my space, and we got into a conversation about different methods of doing so. He asked me about Black Salt, as it was something that he had been concocting recently in order to protect himself and his home. He mentioned that he used cinnamon in his. I had never thought about doing so. I had only made Black Salt once before, and I simply used table salt and charcoal. It was quite effective, but my conversation with my friend made me wonder how much more potent I could make Black Salt by adding other ingredients.
Consciously I mostly forgot about this question of adding other ingredients to Black Salt, but then, a few weeks after my conversation with my friend, the idea suddenly popped back into my mind. I suspect that my subconscious had been working on it all along. I thought of a dream I had had many years ago in which I was in a Mediaeval town. I was dressed in white and black robes, as if I were a priest, and there were people coming after me and my friends. I remember taking dragon's blood powder out of my robes, and quickly spreading it in a circle around my friends and I as a powerful form of protection. How did I know to do this? Was it a past life memory, or some sort of Intuitive knowing, or some combination of both?
And then I remembered. I still had a bottle of dragon's blood oil that I had bought not long after that dream. What if I added it to the black salt, along with cinnamon, and some other choice ingredients? My subconscious had been busy, for several other ingredients, along with a Spell for the creation, charging and blessing of the Black Salt quickly coalesced in my mind.
But why was all of this coming together now? I suspect that it's because there is a great need in the world right now for protection. The world is changed by many things right now, not the least of which is COVID-19, and in many ways. People are feeling insecure. I'm feeling insecure. We are all feeling collectively the need for more Protection. So at the prompting of these synchronicities, and my own Intuition, I decided to create a video sharing my process for making and charging Black Salt.
But once you've made your Black Salt, what do you do with it? I recommend calling on your Guardians, Powers and/or Deities to help protect you, and sprinkle it around the edges of your land, house or personal space. Doing so will create a very Powerful and quick Ward (a Magical barrier) that anyone or anything wishing to do you harm of any kind would find it very difficult to cross.
If you have need to carry your protection with you, you could create your Black Salt, and put it in a bottle charm. That way you could carry it in your pocket, or put it around your neck. Doing so would provide you a mobile form of the Warding protection that I mentioned above. Combining it with a Sigil of Protection would make it even more powerful!
Another use for Black Salt is Banishment. If you have someone human in your space that is threatening you, then you can use the Black Salt to strongly encourage them to leave. To do so, you would sprinkle some in their shoes, or on their feet. Be warned, however, that using Black Salt in this fashion is a very powerful form of Magic, and could have negative consequences for them beyond just having to leave you and your space. For instance, suppose the result of your Black Salt Banishment is that they receive a phone call that their house is on fire. The energetic and karmic responsibility for someone's house burning down, is presumably a heavy one, therefore, I would recommend exhausting most other possibilities before using the Black Salt for Banishment.
