📝 Mario Kart 64 (Japanese: マリオカート64 Mariokāto 64) (マリオカー 64 Mario Kāto Rokujūyon) often abbreviated as MK64, is the second installment in the Mario Kart series, being the first in the series to use 3D graphics. It was released in 1996 for the Nintendo 64, and later in 2007 for the Virtual Console. Mario Kart 64 features many changes from the previous game, such as new characters and items.
In this video i feature Mario Kart 64 Mushroom Cup 50cc.

The Mushroom Cup is the first cup in a Mario Kart 64. It is considered the easiest cup and it consists on the following tracks:
✅ Luigi Raceway (also called Luigi Circuit ルイージ回路 in Japan) is the first track in the Mushroom Cup in the game, Mario Kart 64. It is the most basic course as it has no hazards whatsoever, being a simple course featuring a straightaway, two wide turns and a curve through a tunnel. A staff ghost can be unlocked in Time Trials. In the Grand Prix, a Spiny Shell can be obtained by jumping at the Item Box on the balloon. It is the prequel to Mario Raceway and Royal Raceway, and has the same music.
This course reappears as a retro course in Mario Kart 7 as it is the first course in the Shell Cup.
✅ Moo Moo Farm is the second course in the Mushroom Cup in Mario Kart 64. It is very similar to the course Moo Moo Meadows, seen in Mario Kart Wii. This course is quite short and definitely for beginners. One of the only hazards in this course are moles that will pop out, these moles being called Chubbies. This known to be the shortest course in the whole game, being almost a perfect oval.
✅ Koopa Troopa Beach is the third track in Mushroom Cup for Mario Kart 64. It is Koopa's signature track. It is probably most likely named after Koopa Troopa because of the rock shaped like a Koopa Troopa seen at the beginning of the track. This course is beach/tropical-themed. There is a shortcut in the course that mostly causes players to speed up to the leaders, or, if in first place, can give them a bigger lead. It can be taken by going off of a Dash Panel in and turning at the right moment to get into a hole in the rock wall (which is the shortcut). Players then come out on the other side with a waterfall above them. Crabs walk around this area and will spin players out if he/she touches one.
The stage appears as one of the arenas in Mario Sports Mix with its unique setting being that after a certain period of time, when a game has started (namely after serving), a wave arrives at the beach revealing several Green Shells and coins for both sides.
Koopa Troopa Beach reappeared as a race track in Mario Kart 7. It is the first course in Banana Cup. When the player does a Time Trial, the Nintendo Ghost will be Koopa Troopa. The easier ghost is the one on the Pipe Frame. The harder ghost, however, is on the Soda Jet.
✅ Kalimari Desert is the last course in Mushroom Cup of Mario Kart 64. It is desert-themed and features trains that will flip you out if they are touched. These trains run across train-tracks that cross over the racing track. Sometimes the player must slow to a stop to wait for the train to pass by and then speed up again. The train-track is not limited, and the whole train-track is available to drive on (unless you're playing on the Mario Kart 7 version). Unless just messing around, this train-track is not a shortcut but instead costs time.
Another hazard on the track is the cacti. Crashing into them causes spin-outs, like Dry Dry Ruins and Thwomp Desert from Mario Kart Wii. The next hazards are the sand and the out-of-zone areas. If you go out into the sand, your kart will become increasingly slower. If you go out too far, you will go out-of-bounds and you will be reset back on the main course. Item Boxes only appear three times: at the beginning before the first railroad crossing; again right before the second railroad crossing; and finally halfway after the second railroad crossing.
This course reappears in Mario Kart 7 as a retro course, with additional glider ramps placed all around the course. It is the first course in Leaf Cup.
Kalimari Desert reappears in Mario Kart Tour once again as a retro course where it retains its appearance from Mario Kart 7. However, unlike its past iterations, the train is no longer a hazard. Instead, the player will gain a jump boost and perform an air trick.
