On the second day, we spent the flights trying to avoid clouds and storms all the way to Florida, where we finally got some glorious weather. It was touch and go for a while there, and we thought we might get stuck in Savannah for the night; but we got a brief window before the thunderstorms arrived and managed to make it down t Fort Pierce. Along the way we got to see some really pretty scenery along the way, and got a close-up view of Cape Canaveral, which was a real thrill for me.
