In this instructional video featuring Tim Gaddini from Johnson Pump, we delve into the Pro Line 750 series for bilge pump maintenance. Whether it's your first installation or routine upkeep, the process remains consistent. To begin, simply grasp the black bilge basket and rotate the pump as indicated by the arrows on the pump body, around 15 to 20 degrees, allowing the cartridge to easily slide out. This action reveals three mounting holes for securing the basket inside the bilge. Additionally, you can inspect the impeller cavity for potential obstructions, such as fishing line or debris. Should you encounter larger obstacles, firmly grip the impeller plate, release the lock tabs, and gently remove it for further examination or replacement. To complete the maintenance, reinstall the cartridge, secure the motor housing by rotating it counter-clockwise, and your Pro Line 750 series bilge pump will be back in optimal working condition.
