When does a Lancashire Hotpot become a Yorkshire Hotpot?
Lancashire hotpot is a traditional English dish, from a small traditional county up North, however with careful modifications, nothing will beat our ‘Yorkshire Hotpot’, made from beef & vegetables. It puts hairs on your chest - man, woman or them! Please note ‘them’ in this instance, is not referring to our Lancashire friends.
However, what is it that makes it a Yorkshire Hotpot and not a Lancashire Hotpot? Is it that we use beef? On the other hand, is there an elixir brewed in Sheffield that gives it a special taste?
Our Lancashire Hotpot is 100% Yorkshire, therefore we claim the name 'Yorkshire Hotpot' for Yorkshire!
