Louis Of Burgundy, Father Of Louis XV : Louis of France (1682, Château de Versailles - 1712, Marly), Duke of Burgundy, was the son of Louis of France (known as the Grand Dauphin) and Marie-Anne of Bavaria. His maternal grandparents were Ferdinand-Marie, Elector of Bavaria, and Henriette-Adélaïde of Savoy, daughter of Victor-Amédée I, Duke of Savoy. He was second in line to his paternal grandfather Louis XIV but died before Louis XIV did. His youngest son became King Louis XV in 1715.
