Today I present indian version of Chicken Chopsuey recipe (चिकन चॉप्सी रेसिपी), which is a popular fusion Chinese recipe that is made in India.This tasty and crunchy snack is popular among all ages. Recipe below.
Ingredients
1. Hakka noodles 150 g
2. Boneless chicken pieces 100 g
3. Chopped onions 1 bowl
4. Chopped carrots 1 bowl
5. Shreded cabbage 3/4 bowl
6. Chopped beans 3/4 bowl
7. Sliced mixed pepper, capsicum 3/4 or 1 bowl
8. Green chilies 2,4 chopped
9. Garlic 8 10 finely chopped
10. Spring onions 1/4, bowl
11. Vinegar
12. soya sauce
13. Tomato sauce
14. Chili sauce
15. Black pepper
16. Chili flakes and chili powder
17. Corn flour 2, 3 tb.sp
18. Oil
29. Salt to taste
Preparation
1. Marinate the chicken with salt, chili flakes, black pepper and corn flour for 15 minutes.
2. Break the noodles, and drop in boiling water with salt and 2 tsp oil, cook till soft, but not mashy.
3. Strain, wash with cold water, strain, and spread on a plate to cool, sprinkle a little oil over it.
4. Heat oil in a pan, and deep fry about one third or one fourth portion of boiling and cooled noodles till crunchy.
5. Take out, and fry marinated chicken pieces in the same pan till cooked and crispy. Take them out.
6. Remove excess oil, leaving behind one and half to 2 tbsp oil ,add chopped garlic, saute add onion, green chilies and other vegetables one by one, and saute on medium to high flame for 2,3 minutes.
6. Add remaining noodles, mix add salt, chili flakes, pepper, sauces, and vinegar, saute for 2,3 minutes.
7. Add fried chicken pieces, mix and serve hot.
