What’s the proper alignment for the shoulder blades in downward dog?
We tend to hear many conflicting claims about where the shoulder blades should be in this foundational yoga asana. Should they be protracted? Retracted? Elevated? Depressed? Some combination of these? Or should they be doing something else entirely?
