I had the opportunity to get my hands on a beautiful original '63 Fender Stratocaster for a couple of days. The neck was very warped, metal hardware had oxidised, needed new frets and a very temperamental 3 way pickup selector. But i fell in love with it, so much character and such a warm, individual tone.
