In this scene of Over the Hedge, Verne has been trying to tell his family that RJ is using them, but they don’t believe him because they think he’s jealous of RJ. They then turned their back on Verne after he hurt their feelings by saying they are too stupid and naive. Then the song Still plays when RJ and Verne are thinking about what they have done.
