Musala peak at 2952 meter above sealevel is the highest mountain peak in Bulgaria but also in the Balkan Peninsula. In this video I climb the peak from the small ski resort town Borovets. As I was quite early in the season the lifts were still closed so I had to hike all the way which ended up being about 25 km with an elevation gain of 1600 meter.
Enjoy watching!
