What will the family farm look like in 2050? What does the agricultural technology of today tell us about where our food will come from and how it will be grown in the 21st century. Christopher Wood’s broad industrial, technology, economic and agriculture experiences gives him insight to the technology and infrastructure changes coming to wheat farming in the pacific northwest. He believes farmers will be willing to rapidly adopt high tech solutions in machinery, soil science, seed breeding and chemical conservation because of the low cost solutions these offer for the survival of the farm. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at [ Ссылка ]
