A transformation is underway at the Vidhan Sauda in Bengaluru, Karnataka, as employees were observed removing the CM board outside the office of the former Chief Minister. In a symbolic move, the board has been replaced with the name of the new Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah. This alteration signifies the transition of power and reflects the updated leadership at the helm. The process of updating the signage at the office is part of the customary procedures following a change in the Chief Minister's position, symbolizing the start of a new era under Siddaramaiah's governance.
In a momentous event, Siddaramaiah was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Karnataka for the second term, accompanied by D K Shivakumar as the Deputy Chief Minister, and eight legislators as Ministers. This ceremony comes precisely one week after the Congress party's resounding victory in the Karnataka Assembly polls. Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot officiated the oath of office and secrecy, which took place at Sree Kanteerava Stadium. Notably, Siddaramaiah had previously taken oath at the same venue in 2013 when he assumed the role of Chief Minister for the first time.
