In the section devoted to the 1981 'Hard Promises' album from the 'Going Home' documentary (1993), there is footage of TP in the recording studio. This footage captures not only TP recording his vocals for "Letting You Go," but also him playing "Insider" solo on the acoustic guitar for the band.
You can also hear Mike Campbell discuss how the band always rehearsed and learned songs in the studio (despite the expense), and Jimmy Iovine talk about the centrality of TP's rhythm guitar to all of his songs.
