That sound you just heard is muscle-car purists wailing in disbelief as Dodge applies the storied "Charger Daytona" name to an all-electric coupe. Yes, the once-unthinkable has finally happened: Dodge, arguably the loudest and most obnoxious of brands in Detroit, has rolled out an EV.
But, as is Dodge’s style, it's taken steps to ensure this concept is the loudest and most obnoxious EV we’re likely to see this calendar year. Framed in an image of the outgoing Challenger and other two-door muscle cars before it, the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Concept incorporates subtle Dodge heritage cues while allegedly also exceeding aerodynamic targets.
