This Extra boss is a significant step up from all the rest in terms of difficulty. I initially wanted to just pass on this one, but since I just played all the others I felt kind of obligated to do something with it. It's not NMNB, but I guess it's still something.
The stage itself is really long, lasting about 5.5 mins per attempt and there's not much happening in it so I didn't do it because I was having to restart quite a lot. Even with bombs and skipping the stage this NMFS took more tries than NNing any other Extra boss except Mokou.
I really dislike Junko's inclusion here, her nons are quite annoying to repeatedly sit through. Especially because she shows up near the end too and I really don't like getting killed by that after already getting past Hecatia's nonspells and Lunatic Impact. Allowing myself to bomb her nons to get it over with was pretty cathartic.
Hecatia's nonspells are quite difficult and kind of stupid sometimes depending on her movement RNG. The 2nd pink one is bugged and she can move all the way to the bottom of the screen and create very dumb situations. She can also move too high which makes it quite easy, but I find that she moves low far more often than she moves high.
The 2nd blue one is extremely heavy and also dependent on her movement, I feel like it can just wall you sometimes if it really wants to(?). The worst part is that since the kunai are dark blue I find it very hard to see them properly against the background and greatly limits my ability to read ahead. I wanted a run where I capped it, but every run where I did either ended at Lunatic Impact or something really silly at the end so I started bombing it whenever it got too dicey.
Apollo Reflection Mirror becomes really dangerous if Hecatia moves too far to the sides. I find it's better not to try and chase her and to just remain in the middle.
Lunatic Impact is actually quite fun but definitely the hardest spell in this Extra, just try to squeeze through the stars quickly and lead the moons around in a circle.
Timeout can be kinda iffy, the final phase can get quite scary and you have to be really careful not to be too close to the middle because due to a bug Junko spawns in the middle for 1 frame right as the spell ends, and her hitbox will kill you if you're standing there.
I think the final is generally considered easier if you attack Junko but I always attack Hecatia because she's the actual extra boss so it just feels right I guess. Also the shooting bonus is bugged and will give you 0 if you kill Junko instead.
