#11 Go Figure Applying Statistics
The purpose of Go Figure? is to help students review for the mathematics section of the Grades 5-7 Ohio Academic Achievement Tests. The topics covered by the project address critical objectives found in the tests, but more importantly, they address those items that are frequently missed by students.
Pythagleo drops several reports labeled "Government Agencies Attempting to Suppress the Study of Phenomena" as he runs to avoid Carter and Chris. Chris and Carter study the reports and other data they find as they continue trying to solve the mysterious disappearance of the Etna High students in 1966. Pythagleo denounces any government involvement but Chris finds a folder marked "Etna High Test Subjects", "Confidential", and "FBI".

The original "Go Figure" series and CD-ROM game was produced in 1997 by the WOUB Center for Public Media; (Athens, Ohio) and WVIZ/ideaStream, (Cleveland, Ohio) - funded by the Ohio Educational Telecommunications Network Commission. In 2006, the curriculum was updated, CD-ROM re-mastered, and website created (woub.org/gofigure) - produced by the WOUB Center for Public Media with partner agency eTSEO (Educational Technology for Southeastern Ohio) - funded by the eTech Ohio Commission.
