In this video, i show you the aponeurotic expansion of the supraspinatus tendon, in older studies described as an accessory head of the long biceps tendon. It was first described as an accessory head of the biceps tendon in 2010 and again in 2014 in an Ultrasound paper. In 2015 Moser et al published study showing that it is actually not an accessory head of the biceps tendon, but an aponeurotic expansion of the supraspinatus tendon, jointing distally with the pectoralis major tendon and not the biceps brachii muscle belly.
